Does anyone have a solution to this issue? Did this solve your problem? Is there a driver that will improve the bottle neck? Please revert if you face any issues with the Network Adapter. If I’m doing something wrong and the link above should work for the AR could someone please go through the steps of manually installing it to my laptop as windows does not think it is a possible driver for the adapter nor is there a setup file inside of the zip provided in the thread above. Do you get any error message when the network adapter does not work?

Athros it’s a Dell system then according to the link mentioned below it only supports Windows 7. Do you get any error message when the network adapter does not work? I am pretty good with technology but when it comes to drivers and hardware windows can be pretty complicated, I finally got it to stop updating to the newest “best” driver for my computer which does NOT work.

How satisfied are you with this response? Jessen P Replied on May 28, OK herp derp I got it working, I tried installing the driver from the link on the two “other devices” and it turns atherox the network controller was the AC wifi which took the driver!
You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread. How satisfied are you with this reply? Also I’m not sure if I could try using a windows 7 driver for a different model ASUS if attheros would be any similarities or enough similarities for it to work. That is under “other devices” which I suppose is where the wifi will be showing up as it is not working properly. This thread is locked. This was introduced when windows 7 was out.
The atyeros could have happened due to compatibility issues. Is there a driver athefos will improve the bottle neck? I’ve tried several things but from what I can see the other network adapter that the laptop came with was having a similar issue but it was solved, and that thread can be found here.
I suppose thats why my lan works fine and my wifi doesnt lol. Please revert if you face any issues with the Network Adapter.
