It freezes and after about 10 minutes it starts again but everything very very slow and the pci card is still not usable. It shows 32 instances of it! Remove all instances of the device, reboot. Belkin support is great not! I’ve ordered a new one form e-bay. Hi, I’ve recently tried to install a firewire pci Belkin card on my windows 7 operating system, so I can use my digicam, and as soon as I switch on it starts searching for available drivers.
I inserted the card and it started to look for drivers which it never found. Let Windows install it and then re-check Device manager. Eblkin can now use my digicam as before with the previous operating system.

I’m almost certain that there must be a solution, but where to find it? I’ve been to Belkins web site and it has no drivers for this card. It did not come with a driver. I’ve cleaned everything, rebooted and tried with the workaround you suggested.
