Motherboard fan runs for around seconds and powers down, graphics does the same, then starts again and appears to go through same sequence…. Thanks for your input here, I appreciate it.

What does it say on the motherboard per the picture in post 2 in the link. Results 1 to 15 of Because most possibly your Hard drives are of the IDE era, these won’t work on a new motherboard because as Train said, new motherboards don’t have IDE slots.

I don’t know if this store is still in operation but I assume it is, since I just went there online and found this drive: ASUS we found worked about a month after the warranttee was gone.
